How to Craft: A step-by-step guide
Step 1:
Go to the official website, www.thedustland.com, click “Learn More” and “Go to crafting station” to start crafting.
Step 2:
Log in to your Dustland account. Make sure you have the MetaMask app or browser extension installed on your device.
Step 3:
If you have a Floppy Disk NFT, you can use it to craft exclusive gear.
Note:
- The Hammer icon indicates a Floppy Disk that is ready to craft
- The Upgrade arrow indicates your Gear item is upgradeable
- The Convert icon indicates your item can be brought into the game
- The Gold border indicates your NFT item that cannot be used in game

Step 4:

Step 5:
Once you have sufficient crafting materials, click “Craft” to start.
If you don’t have enough in-game DOSE, you can swap for some Polygon DOSE on QuickSwap now! Two liquidity pools have been set up:
Important reminder:
Be aware that there are scammers and fake addresses out there, so it’s crucial to exercise caution whenever you participate in transactions. Always ensure that you’re interacting with the correct contract address: 0x81382e9693de2afc33f69b70a6c12ca9b3a73f47
Remember to add DOSE on Polygon to the MetaMask wallet linked to your game account.
Step 6:
You’re done! Check your inventory to see your Shoe.
User Conversion Limits
Each user will be limited to two on-chain conversions per token over a 24-hour period. You can craft and trade a Shoe on the same day.
For example:
- 1st conversion: Buy a Shoe NFT from OpenSea and convert it to an in-game Shoe
- 2nd conversion: Upgrade (coming soon!) and convert the in-game Shoe to a Shoe NFT for trading
Note: Crafting and Shoe conversions are gasless.
