Agility in Mischief
To be able to spread out mischief throughout the realms, Loki needs to be quick and agile. Daily stretching plays an important role in this!
- Improved posture: You need a lot of charisma to pull off mischief like Loki. Daily stretching helps a lot in this regard. Stretching helps lengthen tight muscles, giving a more upright and comfortable posture.
- Stress reduction: Being a god can be stressful most of the time, especially if you’re always in your brother’s shadow. Stretching exercises can help reduce stress levels by promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being.
- Enhanced circulation: I’m not sure how blood flow works for Asgardians but it does wonders for us humans. Stretching increases blood flow to the muscles, improving circulation. This can contribute to better nutrient delivery and waste removal within the body, aiding in overall cardiovascular health.
Impostor Syndrome in Asgard
As you all know, Loki isn’t originally from Asgard. He’s a frost giant from Jotunheim. While admittedly, he faced moments where he felt like he didn’t belong, but getting rid of impostor syndrome did wonders for him and will do the same for your fitness journey! Here’s the places or situations where you will face impostor syndrome and how to manage it:
- Going to the gym: To be fair, you’ve never seen Loki go to the gym (that would be a bit boring for a tv show, wouldn’t it). But gyms can be intimidating for most people. Setting foot by yourself in a room full of experienced individuals can be daunting for newcomers. To manage this, you need to focus on your own progress and not how others perceive you. If it helps, you can even go to the gym with a friend to keep you company.
- Social media: In reality, Loki probably doesn’t have a Twitter or Instagram account. We could learn a thing or two from this. Social media is a great place to get insightful content on fitness, but there’s two sides of the coin. Don’t compare yourself to the established people on social media and just learn from their journey and incorporate it into your training.
- Progress plateau: When learning magic from her mother, Loki’s progress wasn’t always linear. Plateaus are normal in any learning journey, especially fitness journeys. Reflect on your achievements, adjust your approach if needed, and set realistic expectations. Consistency is key.
Dressing for the Occasion
Loki’s an excellent shapeshifter, he always dresses for the occasion. When you look good, you’re going to feel good. It’s as simple as that. Donning some new workout gear, especially if it’s comfortable and looks good, will bring your confidence and motivation to a whole new level:
- Getting more comfortable: Wearing a comfortable and well-fitted attire can boost your confidence and motivation to go the gym. Our brain will associate the good feeling and comfort of those clothes with going to the gym. Before you know it, you’ll become addicted to going to the gym!
- Goal outfits: Not so much of a workout outfit but a target outfit for your goals. Having a clear and manageable goal is important in your fitness journey. This can be in the form of jeans or any other clothing that didn’t fit before. This’ll give you a more tangible goal to pursue.
